The Black Lady

First one of my serie "The ladies"

Ladies in popular traditions are kind of fairies with human form. They can be good or bad.

Black Lady
Like red ladies they are evil and dangerous.
They appear at night to capture and kill the humans they meet. In France, peasants were afraid to go out at night because of black ladies.
They are beautiful, but scornfull, always wearing luxuous black clothes.

I love this one, with the green lady, they are my faves.
I had fun painting the graveyard in the mist (I just love this kind of atmosphere .
I had the idea drawing her smilling to a skull watching the video clip "do the evolution" by Pearl Jam.
